SEO

Show up where your customers search

SEO is not a one-off setting but ongoing work. We fix your site’s technical foundation, build content around the phrases people actually search for, and measure the outcome with Search Console data.

What to expect from SEO — and what not to

SEO is the combined technical, content and authority work that helps a site appear near the top of search engines such as Google for relevant queries. Done properly, it delivers a lasting flow of visitors that does not depend on an advertising budget.

What you should not expect is speed or a guarantee. A new site usually needs months to gain ground on competitive queries, and because Google decides rankings, nobody can honestly promise "position one". Every month we report clearly what we changed and how it affected impressions, clicks and rankings.

The technical foundation comes first

Before writing content we make sure the site can be crawled and understood correctly: pages left out of the index, redirect chains, duplicate content, wrong canonical tags, missing hreflang, slow templates and Core Web Vitals issues. Most of these problems are invisible from the outside, yet they quietly stop good content from turning into rankings.

We turn the findings into a written list ordered by priority. If we run the site’s infrastructure we make the fixes directly; if another team does, we work through them with your developers.

Content built on real search phrases

Keyword research is less about "which word has the most volume" and more about "what does your customer type when they are close to buying". For every service and product we define target queries and spread them across the site structure — headings, URLs and internal links.

Two pages targeting the same query pull each other down, so the content plan is made page by page and every page has a single job. Guides and blog posts are tied into the plan to support the sales pages.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile

For searches that include a city or district name, and for "near me" searches, Google shows map results first. Visibility there is largely decided by the Google Business Profile: correct categories, a complete list of services, current photos, regular posts and customer reviews.

We tidy up the profile and make sure your business name, address and phone number are written identically on the site, in the profile and in directories. We add LocalBusiness structured data to your site and set up a review request flow that follows Google’s rules and does not bother your customers.

Authority: what others say about you

Google reads a site’s trustworthiness largely from the links other sites give it. Buying links or joining link networks may seem to work in the short term, but it brings the risk of penalties; we do not use these methods.

Instead we earn links from real relationships: industry and regional directories, professional bodies, the websites of your partners and dealers, and local news and event coverage.

FAQ

Common questions about SEO

When will SEO results show?

The effect of technical fixes usually starts to appear in Search Console within a few weeks. Lasting rankings on competitive queries, however, mostly come from months of steady work, which is why we plan SEO as an ongoing process rather than a one-off job.

Do you guarantee the top spot on Google?

No. Google decides rankings, and a company that guarantees them is not making a realistic promise. What we commit to is the scope of work, regular reporting and transparency: every month you see what we changed and what came of it.

You did not build our site — can you still work on its SEO?

Yes. Whatever platform the site is built on, we start with a technical audit. Some fixes are solved through content and settings; if a change needs something the platform does not allow, we say so clearly and proceed with your developer or with a rebuild proposal.

What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

With Google Ads you pay per click, and visibility ends when the budget does. Rankings earned through SEO do not depend on a budget, but they take time to build. For many businesses the right path is to support demand with ads until SEO starts delivering.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO aims to rank near the top of search engine results such as Google’s. GEO (generative engine optimisation) aims to be cited and recommended in the answers produced by tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews. Both are built on the same foundation; we also offer GEO as a separate service.

How is the SEO service priced?

Once the scope is clear — the size of the site, the competition for target queries and the content needed — we send a written proposal. The first meeting and the initial technical assessment are free of charge.
